Chardonnay Harvest and Crush

Martorana Family Winery
Chardonnay Grape Harvest
September 29, 2009

This year's harvest yield is 3 tons.
Under the watchful eyes of Sunny the winery dog, the grapes were weighed, shaded and then crushed into pure nectar. Later they will be put in oak barrels and a couple of years from now these grapes will be ready to savor.

Passport Weekend - Martorana Family Winery

April 25 & 26, 2009

Martorana Family Winery

Passport Weekend
Healdsburg, CA.

The weather was great and so was the friendly confine of the Martorana Family Winery.

Lots of folks
said they were glad this was the last stop on the Passport tour because it was easy to say it was their favorite one.

The wines
were of course great in my very biased opinion (are you not biased either?).

Along with the red stuff, dual outdoor pizza ovens kept hungry wine lovers satisfied. The family olive oil, Olio diGio dripped on top of a slice was a foodie trip to heaven. The meatballs were darn good too.

Classic American Steel.  Bring it back... dump your Prius.
Favorite picture of all time.

go and get yourself some cheap sunglasses... oh yeah!

shadows of a bygone game.

Frames meant for an art project left out in the cold.
Sunsets are a blur now days. Slow down.
Underneath the clover fields the ladybugs have umbrellas.

These guys are either tax collectors or mobsters... either way I better pay! Just kidding.. they are actors in a History Channel show I shot.
Here is my dad Terrance on the right and David Thompson on the other side (left!). One is a writer and the other one is a talker.
